Soft Spot is a daily word game. We tried to collect as little as possible.
The messages you type in a round. To play, your messages are sent to our server (Cloudflare) and processed by Cloudflare's AI to generate the character's replies and score the round. Messages are tied to a random, app-generated session ID, not to your name, email, or Apple ID.
A random session identifier. Generated on your device the first time you play. It lets the game keep your current round and enforce the daily limit. It is not an advertising identifier and is not used for advertising.
Reports you submit. If you tap Report on a reply, we store that reply so a person can review it.
We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, photos, or health data. No account is required. Your streak and stats live on your device.
No ads. No tracking across other apps or websites. We don't sell your data.
Cloudflare hosts our server and provides the AI that generates character replies. Apple processes any purchases — we never see your card.
Round data is kept briefly to run the game and expires automatically. Reported content is kept longer so we can act on it.
Soft Spot is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
